About Rachel
I am a piano tutor with 8 years of experience and a background in B.Mus Piano Performance and M.Mus Music Education. I have taught learners ranging from beginners discovering basic skills to advanced students preparing for recitals, competitions, and ensemble performances. My approach combines technical guidance with musical interpretation, ensuring learners develop confidence, precision, and expressive ability.
I create personalized lessons that include exercises, repertoire, improvisation, and performance practice. Students receive feedback, encouragement, and strategies for technical refinement and expressive growth. Lessons also incorporate creative exploration and ensemble collaboration to support well-rounded musicianship.
Outside of teaching, I actively perform, collaborate, and study diverse musical styles to enrich my lessons with practical experience.
