About Thea
I am a piano tutor with 8 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Studies. Over the years, I have helped students strengthen technique, improve performance confidence, and develop greater musical understanding. Watching learners grow through music is one of the most enjoyable parts of my work.
My teaching philosophy combines structure with creativity. I encourage students to build solid technical foundations while also exploring musical expression and personal interpretation. Lessons are adapted to support each learner’s goals and learning style.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy accompanying musicians, studying piano repertoire, and participating in collaborative performances. These experiences enrich my teaching and help me bring new perspectives into lessons. I look forward to helping students discover the joy of playing piano.

My piano lessons focus on helping students become comfortable and confident at the keyboard from the very beginning. We work on note reading, rhythm accuracy, finger coordination, hand independence, scales, and expressive playing through structured and enjoyable activities. Every lesson is designed to build strong foundations.
Students take part in sight-reading exercises, rhythm challenges, duet practice, technical drills, and repertoire development. I explain concepts clearly and encourage learners to understand the purpose behind each activity. This helps students develop both skill and musical awareness.
I enjoy helping learners discover their own musical strengths while improving steadily. Through patient support and regular feedback, students build confidence and develop a lasting appreciation for music. My goal is to make piano learning positive, motivating, and rewarding.
