About Shona
My name is Shona, I am 25 and based in Edinburgh, Scotland. I currently work as a Band 6 physiotherapist in the NHS, specialising in Mental Health - though this is a very specialist generalist post so I work with many patient groups including neurology, elderly, musculoskeletal, orthopaedics.
In my free time I love wild swimming, exploring outside and socialising - very much a people person.
I have every sympathy for how stressful a time university can be, and enjoy helping students learn in a way that works for them but also keeps them passionate about their potential career!

Physiotherapy lessons on any course subjects available. Happy to tailor to the individual regarding lesson content and teaching method - everyone learns differently! We can revise course content, work through case studies, prep for placements or anything else you are needing a general confidence boost with.
I have given a number of presentations to student groups (mainly on Mental Health Physiotherapy which is my current specialist area). I previously tutored maths, chemistry, biology and English at Standard Grade and Higher level, so have some tutoring experience.
Can also help with interview prep - both for applying for physiotherapy at uni, and/or for applying for physiotherapy job posts!
