About Vera

I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BSc in Physics. I love introducing curious high school and university students to the fascinating world of particle physics. My goal is to make the smallest constituents of matter accessible and exciting.

I specialise in teaching the Standard Model, focusing on quarks, leptons, bosons, and the fundamental forces. I use clear diagrams, relatable analogies, and interactive explanations to demystify subatomic interactions. Students gain not just knowledge, but a deeper intuition for how particles and forces shape the universe.

I have experience guiding learners who are interested in cutting-edge research and exploring fundamental questions about reality. Each session is tailored to the student’s pace, encouraging curiosity and independent thinking. I break down complex ideas into digestible steps without oversimplifying the science.

Together, we explore particle behaviour, interactions, and the elegant structure of matter. I focus on building conceptual clarity alongside problem-solving skills. My approach makes abstract topics engaging and memorable.

I invite students to join me in uncovering the hidden world of particles and energy. Let’s explore the building blocks of the universe together and discover the beauty of physics at its smallest scale.

My teaching approach in physics is systematic, clear, and focused on building a solid understanding of core principles. I break down complex macroscopic behaviours into simple, logical steps. Students exploring thermodynamics, heat transfer, states of matter, and gas laws will gain a clear view of how physical laws govern the world around them.

I encourage hands-on exploration and experimentation, helping learners see theory in action. Gadget hackers and experimentalists will thrive in sessions where curiosity is welcomed and guided. Each concept is connected to real-world examples, making abstract ideas easier to grasp.

I provide consistent feedback, highlighting strengths and addressing areas for improvement, ensuring students steadily master fundamental principles. Energy and its transformations form the backbone of our discussions, and we focus on understanding rather than memorising.

Lessons are interactive and adaptive, catering to each student’s pace and learning style. By connecting theory with experiments and practical scenarios, students gain confidence in solving problems and applying concepts. The goal is not only to understand physics but to excel in exams, assignments, and real-world applications.

With careful guidance, students develop analytical thinking and a deeper appreciation for how physics shapes the world. Together, we build a strong foundation for success in advanced studies and practical problem-solving.
