My Teaching Method & Techniques
I believe learning is based on students' interest and natural abilities. My teaching approach is student-centered, adapting to individual needs while fostering a deep understanding of concepts.

Here’s how I do it:
Diagnostic Assessment: Start with identifying the strengths, gaps, and learning styles of the student and tailor it to my lesson preparation.

Visual & Hands-On Tools: I use diagrams, simulations, and analogies to simplify abstract concepts (example, using the water/hose analogy for electricity is useful for explaining voltage, current, and power!).

Scaffolded Practice: Gradually move from guided exercises to independent challenges, ensuring mastery at each step.

Feedback-Driven: Regular quizzes and open discussions to track students' progress and adjust pacing.

A Typical Lesson Plan (60 Minutes):

Warm-Up & Review (5–10 mins): Recap previous topics and address homework questions.

Concept Introduction (15–20 mins): Break down new material with relatable examples (e.g., Newton’s laws explained through sports).

Guided Practice (15–20 mins): Tutor and student solve problems together, emphasizing critical thinking over memorization.

Independent Application (10–15 mins): The student tackles problems on his/her own with the tutor's support when needed.

Wrap-Up & Goals (5 mins): Summarize key concepts and assign targeted practice (e.g., a physics video analysis or a math puzzle).

What Sets Me Apart

Cross-Disciplinary Insight: I connect topics across subjects (e.g., showing how calculus underpins motion in physics).

Mentorship Mindset: Beyond grades, I focus on building resilience, curiosity, and study skills for lifelong learning.

Tech-Savvy Tools: Use of apps like PhET Simulations, Desmos, and coding basics to model complex ideas and concepts.

24/7 Support: Students can email me with urgent questions before exams or deadlines.

Who Are My Lessons For?

Levels: Grades 9–12, including IB, AP, GCSE, and CBSE curricula.

Focus Areas:

Physics: Mechanics, electromagnetism, optics.

Math: Algebra, precalculus and calculus, geometry, and statistics.

Science: Conceptual chemistry, biology basics, and interdisciplinary projects.

Specific Needs: Exam prep (SAT, ACT, finals), struggling learners, advanced students craving enrichment, or homeschoolers.

Why Choose Me?
I don’t just teach formulas—I ignite a aha! moment. Whether it’s a student who’s failed three physics quizzes or one aiming for a perfect AP score, I meet them where they are and elevate their potential. My track record includes students improving by 2+ letter grades and winning science fairs!
