About Zoe
My passion for physics developed from a fascination with how the universe operates, from the smallest particles to cosmic phenomena. I earned a B.Sc in Physics and an M.Sc in Astrophysics, gaining deep understanding of both theoretical frameworks and practical applications. Over 9 years, I have guided students through complex topics, helping them develop conceptual clarity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
I teach through structured explanations, hands-on demonstrations, visualizations, and applied exercises. Many learners initially find abstract equations or derivations intimidating, so I use clear, stepwise instruction, relatable examples, and iterative problem-solving strategies to make lessons approachable and engaging. Lessons are customized to match student goals, pace, and background knowledge, fostering both competence and curiosity.
Beyond teaching, I remain actively engaged with research, observational projects, and contemporary physics studies to keep lessons current and relevant. Teaching physics is deeply rewarding because I see learners develop confidence, curiosity, and analytical abilities. Supporting students to gain mastery, independence, and a deep understanding of physical principles is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work.

Physics becomes approachable when students can connect concepts to observable phenomena, experiments, and real-world applications. My lessons cover mechanics, thermodynamics, waves, optics, electromagnetism, energy, and applied physics problems. I focus on building strong conceptual understanding, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Lessons include visual aids, interactive demonstrations, guided problem-solving, and real-world examples to make abstract concepts intuitive and engaging.
Intermediate learners study multi-step problems, force analysis, energy transformations, wave behavior, and simple electrical circuits to strengthen analytical thinking and precision. Advanced learners explore thermodynamic systems, mechanics derivations, advanced wave interactions, and experimental design, fostering independent reasoning, deeper insight, and practical application skills. Lessons are tailored to the student’s goals, pace, and level, providing structured guidance, iterative practice, and critical thinking exercises.
Physics education also develops logical reasoning, observation skills, and curiosity about the natural world. Students learn to apply formulas conceptually, analyze experimental data, and connect principles across topics. My goal is to help learners become confident, inquisitive, and capable thinkers who approach problems methodically, understand the world deeply, and can apply physical principles creatively in academic, research, or real-world contexts.
