About Mason
I am an Honors Physics student at the University of Utah, I will graduate in the spring of 2027. I have passed every class I have taken and even if you confront me with math I am not used to or don't quite remember I can learn it quickly, thus allowing me to help you learn better since I just did. I also do research in quantum information and have been doing that since I was a freshman. I have substantial experience teaching children who are probably a lot worse behaved than you, and I find I am a better teacher with the older students who are more capable of figuring out stuff for themselves. My style is very hands free as I believe that everyone can learn stuff on their own and just need an occasional nudge or explanation, and If I am too involved it will take away from one's ability to teach themselves, not to mention that it feels good to figure stuff out for yourself.

I believe that when students are learning on their own, or with minimal instruction they will learn best. So I will do my best to help you figure it out while giving as little guidance as I think is necessary. I cannot teach math to high schoolers or younger but physics is fine at any grade level and math too if you are out of high school. I have experience teaching elementary to high school students math, and currently do that as a job which is why I cannot take any students from those ages for math. A typical lesson would involve whatever you feel you need to learn, and if I find any holes in your understanding I will do my best to fill them in as we go. I anticipate working on homework a lot, but if you want something else, I am willing to consider.
