About Gareth
I have a Masters degree in Physics from the University of Manchester in the UK, with some focus on astrophysics and nuclear physics. I recently graduated and have worked for a aeronautical engineering company. I am from Belfast Northern Ireland and enjoy trying to bring some excitement to subjects that many find dull and confusing.

I base my teaching methods on the techniques I wish teachers had used while I was learning, rather than sticking to the monotony of the dull text books, use realistic analogies and little personal tricks that were memorable and applicable when it came to utilisation of the various topics in mathematics and physics, and when possible, introduce the fascinating things that make these subjects special. A lesson would begin by figuring out where students are coming across challenges in different class topics, and using personal experience through my own study to help smooth out those misunderstandings using the more useful techniques I mentioned above.
