About Rachael Anne
I work as a Planetarium Presenter and have a passion for sharing STEM subjects to the public. As a result of my work, I feel confident explaining Physics concepts at many different levels.
As an advocate for STEM and an Astrophysics graduate myself, I know how hard the topics can be and how horrible it can feel when you are struggling with a topic. That is why I decided to tutor. I aim to help people gain confidence in their skills within STEM subjects.
When I can, I make videos on YouTube covering Maths / Physics topics so if you would like to see my teaching style or an example of how a tutoring session might be like with me, watch my video linked below.
The video is an astrophysics topic called Parallax.
Due to a varied schedule, once you have received a lesson, do not assume I will be free same time next week (although I am usually free all day Thursday). Each lesson will have to be arranged before hand so please be proactive about contacting me for lessons if you wish to continue tutoring sessions after the first free lesson.
I do also create my own notes/resources which will be made available to you after your first paid lesson. Resources take time to make and are made by myself (hence my intellectual property) therefore I will only make these available AFTER the first PAID session.

I am a Graduate from the University of Kent with a Masters in Physics with Astrophysics.
Sessions are typically 1 hr long (either in person or online) but can be lengthened or shortened if needed. Each lesson may include reviewing your notes, explanation of a topic, worked examples, and/or answering any questions you have about your topic. Feel free to bring your notes from lessons or any homework questions and we can go through them together. I like to go through worked examples to show you the method of a question before giving you some to try for yourself.
Lessons available for GCSE and A-Level students.
