About Aliza
I taught STE(A)M at the elementary school level for 2 years. Since then, I tutored undergraduate college algebra, physics, and calculus. Also, I tutored for SAT prep for students in my city. I then graduated from University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Physics and I now attend Vanderbilt University studying Astrophysics and researching gravitational waves using numerical relativity!

My lessons will always start with what you know, and we will work our way up to a full understanding of the concept or assignment from there. Since STEM is used in every aspect of our every day life, we will be using real life examples to understand various concepts of algebra, trigonometry, kinematics, and more!
What is unique about my teaching style is how creative my examples for understanding are. I am able to explain every detail of a problem and apply various analogies to relate to the problem. A lot of my tutoring is discussion based and I apply visuals and hands on work to enhance understanding.
These lessons are for any degree/class level in STEM.
