About Taryn
I have 7 years of experience teaching Physics to students working towards stronger exam performance and deeper scientific understanding. I earned an M.Sc in Applied Physics, which provided a strong academic foundation in mechanics, energy systems, and advanced physical problem solving. This background allows me to teach physics with both conceptual clarity and practical exam-focused strategies that help learners improve consistently.
My teaching style is supportive, patient, and highly adaptable. I believe physics becomes easier when students feel guided step by step, rather than pressured. I use diagrams, real-life examples, and structured problem breakdowns to ensure each student understands the reasoning behind formulae. I want learners to build true confidence by understanding concepts deeply, not by memorising solutions.
Outside tutoring, I stay engaged with physics through scientific reading, interest in technological applications, and exploration of modern research developments. Teaching physics is meaningful to me because I enjoy watching students shift from uncertainty into confidence. Helping learners realise their ability to think clearly and solve complex problems is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

Physics becomes much more approachable when students learn to connect abstract formulae to real-world motion, energy, and forces they observe daily. In my lessons, I guide learners through mechanics, waves, electricity, magnetism, and modern physics using clear explanation and structured problem solving. I focus on helping students understand the deeper logic behind physical laws, so they feel confident rather than intimidated. Each session encourages curiosity and provides a calm learning environment where students can ask questions freely.
Lessons are adapted to each learner’s level. Beginners work on building strong foundations in motion, Newton’s laws, energy, and simple calculations. Intermediate learners strengthen understanding of circuits, wave behaviour, momentum, and multi-step exam problems. Advanced students explore deeper topics such as electromagnetism, thermodynamics, derivations, and higher-level application questions. Every class includes practice, feedback, and reasoning support to ensure steady improvement.
Physics lessons help students develop analytical thinking, resilience, and confidence in tackling challenges. Over time, learners begin approaching problems with greater calm and precision, skills that benefit them far beyond physics itself. My goal is to help students succeed academically while discovering physics as a subject that explains how the universe works.
