About Devika
My passion for physics began when I realized that mathematical equations could describe the behavior of the physical world. This fascination motivated me to pursue advanced study in physics, eventually completing a PhD in the subject. During my academic research, I explored complex physical theories and gained deeper understanding of scientific investigation.
Over the past 12 years, I have taught physics to students with a wide range of academic goals. Some learners study physics for examinations, while others want to understand scientific ideas more deeply. My teaching philosophy focuses on clarity, patience, and structured explanation. I believe that when students understand the reasoning behind formulas, they become more confident in solving problems independently.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading about developments in space science, renewable energy, and modern technology. Staying connected with scientific progress allows me to bring interesting insights into my lessons. Teaching physics is rewarding because it allows me to support students as they develop analytical thinking and appreciation for the scientific laws that shape our universe.

Physics helps explain the fundamental laws that govern motion, energy, and natural interactions. In my lessons, I focus on helping students understand these principles through clear reasoning and structured learning. We begin with basic topics such as velocity, acceleration, and force so learners can develop a solid conceptual foundation. Understanding these ideas allows students to approach more complex physics topics with greater confidence.
As lessons progress, students explore subjects such as work and energy, waves, electricity, and basic thermodynamics. I guide learners through step-by-step problem solving that shows how formulas relate to real physical situations. Diagrams and examples help students visualize how forces act on objects and how energy moves through systems. This approach allows learners to understand the logic behind calculations rather than simply memorizing equations.
With consistent practice, students develop stronger analytical thinking and improved problem-solving skills. They begin to see how physics connects with engineering, technology, and natural phenomena. My goal is to help learners approach physics with curiosity and confidence. Through clear explanation and supportive instruction, students gradually develop the ability to understand and apply scientific principles effectively.
