About Priya
Hi I'm Priya, a second year student studying physics at the University of Liverpool! I began tutoring when I saw how affected my sister, who was studying for her GCSEs, has been by the coronavirus pandemic. I have really enjoyed tutoring her whilst also sharing exam/revision techniques that really helped me.
Since then I have provided support to a vast range of students, taking my time to understand specific goals and adapt to varying learning styles.

When sitting my GCSE and A level exams I was able to appreciate
how important not only content knowledge is but also confidence in exam/revision techniques.
This is what I would like students to take away from our sessions - solid comprehension of the content but also a great understanding of how to apply this knowledge in exam situations.
By focusing on how the student can apply topics covered to other aspects of the subject and the eventual exam the student can feel motivated to achieve their targets. This worked great for my own revision as it's so easy to get caught up in exam prep and forget what you're ultimately aiming for.
1-1 tutoring is an amazing way to quickly identify areas of weakness and in an environment where students feel comfortable to learn without fear of making mistakes!
I look forward to meeting my students, getting to know their
goals, and working together to achieve them!
I have experience of tutoring students from ages 4 to 18 and have enjoyed adapting to a vast range of learning styles. Lessons typically will last for an hour.
