I like to assess what my student's weaknesses are and get to the root of what is causing them. Sometimes it can be related to content mastery but other times it can be test taking skills. After identifying the shortcomings, I work with students to enhance their confidence by giving them the skillset they need. I can work with many learning types including visual, auditory, and more. I am well-seasoned with adapting my teaching style to what my student needs.

I was failing my math class and I tried a session with Maya as a last resort to help Later the next week, I got an A on my test which raised my grade from a D to A. It helps me so much when I am not able to get help at home with homework. Maya was very encouraging and helped me throughout the entire session. She personalized her teaching to my learning style. I love her services.
