About György
I am a professional cinematographer and photographer with two MAs. I have been in the industry for over 15 years working on independent films, TV commercials, observational documentaries. I am also a seasoned documentary and portrait photographer.
But all of that would be nothing, without the passion I have for teaching and the ability to help you understand any aspect of photography or filmmaking. Be it technical skills or developing your creative eye, I am more than happy to share my knowledge and expertise with you.
I have been teaching for over 5 years both privately and at various institutions. It's hard to believe but I have taught over 800 courses and 3,500 learners of all ages and levels. Thanks to all my students I have learned a lot. Like a good doctor, 'I have seen it all' and that means that I can relate to what makes improving your photographic or filmmaking skills challenging to you.
Whether you are a SEN person, dyslexic or just generally uncomfortable with numbers and highly technical explanations, I can help you understand and simplify the concepts behind creating images. I know how uneasy learners can feel with today's digital devices - and I can help you overcome these fears.
But more than anything, I want to help my students move beyond and away from purely technical issues and allow them focus on the joy of creating images.
