About Tara
I have eight years teaching experience in South Korea, and look forward to bringing my passion for teaching children online. While in Korea, I taught reading, writing, phonics, grammar, speaking, debate, science, social studies, art, vocabulary, and more. My proudest achievement while teaching younger learners was when a majority of my kindergarten students were showing reading skills equivalent to that of a third grade learner in the United States.

My teaching method is simple, I use TPR techniques to elicit children participation in listening and repeating what I am conveying. My lessons are fun and interactive as I bring my creativity to my classes. I will give lessons to children from ages 5-7 looking for a better understanding of phonetics.
