About Poppy
I’m passionate about helping students grow in confidence and discover their potential. I’ve always loved learning and helping others find joy in it too, which is what inspired me to teach. Having worked both as a tutor and teaching assistant, I’ve seen how the right support can transform learning. I love creating a positive, encouraging space where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas and overcoming challenges. Teaching allows me to share my enthusiasm for each subject while helping learners develop skills that last far beyond the classroom.

I offer friendly, learner-centred tutoring in Maths (up to GCSE) and Sociology, Philosophy and Theatre Studies (up to A-Level), as well as confident support for all subjects at KS2 level. With experience both as a tutor and teaching assistant, I create engaging 30-60 minute sessions that encourage self-discovery, build confidence and deepen understanding. Whether boosting exam performance or nurturing curiosity, my lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style and goals.
