About Daniel
Currently studying Philosophy and Psychology at Leeds university. Gained grade 9 in GCSE Maths, Sciences and English Literature. Studied History, Chemistry and Mathematics at A-Level at Dame Alice Owens sixth form, getting A* (Maths, A (History) and A (Chemistry). I have years of tutoring experience both privately and through tutoring organisation Exlore Learning. In addition, my mother is a maths teacher and so through her I have been able to learn effective teaching techniques.

I'm a young tutor living between Leeds and Potters Bar (Hertfordshire). I have years of experience in both private tutoring and working with explore learning tutoring company. I am most confident teaching students from year 7 upwards in Maths, English and Sciences. I believe my role as a tutor is to help develop my students understanding of a subject. For some students this may be through giving them questions to answer, but for others it may be through a lesson-style explanation of a concept. Unlike in school, I try to allow my students to show, and tell, me what gaps may exist in their knowledge/understanding of a topic - and go from there!

Perfect! Daniel is an exceptional tutor who has helped my son in maths for nearly three years. After tutoring my son, his grades for maths have escalated significantly. Daniel is a professional, organised and a genuinely nice person to be tutored by. He has always tailored the lessons specifically to my son’s needs and has helped him to understand GCSE maths questions in a clear, well-explained manner.
