About Lizzie
Hello! I am a approachable, dedicated and enthusiastic tutor based in Prestwich. I have recently moved up from London, where I worked as a Learning Support Assistant in a Preparatory School and then a Teaching Assistant, as well as providing one-to-one tuition both online and in person. I have supported students to get into schools such as Latymer, Westminster and Alleyns.
I have particular experience working with SEN students, having supported students with dyspraxia, dyslexia, ASD and ADHD. As someone with dyspraxia myself, I am particularly empathetic to the difficulties neurodivergent students face and I can help them develop strategies to become more effective learners.
I am a practising playwright with an MA in Writing for Performance and Dramaturgy from Goldsmiths and a 1st in Philosophy from the University of Sheffield.
I teach all subjects up to primary school level, particularly specialising in 11+ prep. I also teach English up to GCSE, Philosophy and Religious Studied up to A Level and Creative Writing at any level.
I am available to tutor week days and weekend.

Perfect! Lizzie has consistently been an excellent tutor, supporting my son through 11+ and now secondary school. His confidence, attention to detail and writing has improved as a result.
