About Isabela
I am a 27 years old writer, originally from Cuba, and currently based in Edinburgh. I have lived in five different countries, and my goal is to give engaging and interactive classes tailored for you - including but not limited to: practical spanish, conversational spanish, or highly specified vocabulary tailored to occupation or hobbies.

My lessons range from half an hour to three hours, depending on your needs. I have worked as a private tutor for over a year giving individual and group classes to students from 14 years old. I welcome students from all levels. For language learning, my methodology is systematic and interactive. I emphasise the use of real-life situations and practical examples, which makes it easier to understand the intention, tone, and emotions behind the words. The materials I use include flashcards, media, grammar and vocabulary exercises. The lessons can also be purely conversational on topics of interest to the students. For English, Spanish, and Philosophy for IB, GCSE, and A levels, I use textbooks and work on the student specific needs.
