About Tom
I have nearly 10-year experience of tutoring subjects including Maths, music instrument and theory, and having a different first language (Mandarin Chinese). I tutor MSc students relevant statistics and was before mentoring at schools.
Expertise including double bass playing, either solo and orchestral; piano (beginner to intermediate), classical and jazz, fundamental music theory and statistics in the public health domain. I have tutored MSc student for exam prep, and regularly children who learn to play musical instruments. I have also been helping people who study Mandarin Chinese with their reading, writing, speaking and listening. I also have expertise in statistics and statistical programming with a few packages, STATA, R and Excel VBA.
