About Matthew
I am a student at UEA with an Undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, and a Masters degree in Public Policy and Public Management. I am currently studying towards a PhD.
I have tutored a wide range of subjects and levels in History, Politics and Economics up to university level, and can also assist with examination technique and confidence in order to maximise marks and demonstrate your potential to the examiner.
I have experience working with a wide range of examination boards and syllabuses, including EdExCel, OCR, and CCEA. I also have experience working with a wide range of topics, so I tailor an individual study program to you.

I believe the best way to learn is interactively. Through lessons, I try to engage the learner with the material they are trying to learn so that they not only remember it, but understand how to apply it. In order to do this effectively I attempt to identify which type of learning is most effective, Visual, Auditory, or Kinesthetic. This allows me to tailor lessons to the learner, and maximise learning efficiency in a short space of time.
I also aim to get students passionate in what they are studying, not only through tailoring my lesson plans to their interests, but also encouraging and developing independent learning skills that will prove vital in Higher Education or Professional Development in the future.
