About Kai
I had been the volunteer Mandarin lecturer for short courses or the coordinator for extracurricular activities at the primary and middle schools before I came to Australia. I used to be a part-time private tutor in Sydney, especially focusing on accent correction.

I am an international PhD student majoring in Sociology. Mandarin is my mother tongue. I am good at accent correction. I can help you to practice daily conversation with the proper expressions in given contexts. I am fond of and familiar with classic Chinese, poems and lyrics and good at written Chinese for multiple purposes. I am focusing on writing now so that my schedule is quite flexible. Hopefully, I can help you to enjoy learning, speaking, and writing Mandarin.

Perfect! Kai is very warm and kind, but also a very excellent teacher. She ensures that the lesson includes everything that i have requested (pronunciation, vocabulary, character writing, grammar, conversation). I really appreciate her approach to pronunciation - it is rigourous and professional and it really helps me feel that i just might be understood by a native Chinese speaker :) . I recommend her highly.
