About Amy
Hi there!
My name is Amy. I have been working in the charity sector for the last few years in a variety of roles including for a housing association, and for charity working with young people involved in the criminal justice system. Most recently, for the last three years I have been working in a children's charity, working with primary school children all the way up to care leavers in their twenties. As such, I have a lot of experience working with children and young people of different ages and adapting my communication and style for their needs.
I have now returned to University, studying for a Psychology PhD looking at the impact of yoga and mindfulness in schools.
I am very passionate about psychology and look forward to helping students at all levels understand this interesting and complex subject!

Amy is a wonderful researcher and tutor and highly experienced in her fields.
Amy is an incredibly friendly, approaching and engaging person and would make an excellent tutor. Throughout university she proof read countless numbers of my essays and taught me not only how to improve my grammar but my helped with my essay structure also. Amy would always be diplomatic in raising my mistakes and I never felt patronised or belittled by her doing so. Amy would always show me how to fix my errors as opposed to simply pointing them out and correcting them and I felt I could ask her questions easily, without fear of being laughed at.
