About Laura
I am a Linguistics Postgraduate from UCL with a passion for languages and teaching. I am interested in helping both children and adults to develop their Spanish skills, since I know how to create personalised lessons according to the needs, age and level of the learner. My past experience as a learner of English and French makes me sympathetic towards my students, and provides me first-hand knowledge of the best learning techniques and methods. My teaching experience includes working at an Outstanding secondary school in London, where I taught Spanish to years 7 to 9. This means that I am confident in preparing students for their GCSE in Spanish. Before moving to the UK, I taught Spanish to university students and worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona).
