About Hugo
I am a PhD student based in London with 20+ years' experience in German language and 10+ years' experience of face-to-face and classroom teaching. As well as working with private clients 1-to-1 for assistance with GCSE, A-level and undergraduate German, I also set up and ran a German-language film club at a North. London secondary school, and have taught undergraduate modules in German language and history at two top-tier London universities.
I have a highly adaptable and flexible approach to teaching that is easily catered to the student's individual needs, and a broad knowledge of the language and culture to help students expand their skills beyond syllabus requirements. That said, I pride myself on a good rapport with students, and am happy to work with budding learners and Germanophiles of all ages.
