About Antoine
I am a PhD student in Economics I am also a Graduate Teaching Assistant at UCL for Introduction to Economics ECON0002 module. I have always been tutoring as I find it rewarding to witness growth from my students when they understand the key concepts from the session.
My current research relates to how aggregate inefficiencies could arise from the allocation of talents across space. I also study the rise of post WWI borrowing cost for the French government with high frequency data.
Prior to the PhD I worked as a Research Assistant at the LSE working on a project related to the measurement of marginal propensity to consume out of an experiment with bank level data.
I obtained a Master in Economics in France at Institut Polytechnique de Paris majoring in Macroeconomics and Econometrics.

We can do a first free session for 45 minutes to know each other better and see if we plan to work together.
My teaching philosophy is based on a learning by doing process. I start to break down concepts in ways that are simple to understand, and ensure my student understands the concept and answers to questions before moving onto a simple practice exercise. I am always receptive and encourage questions during my teaching as it is the best way to learn.
