About Douglas
I am Communication PhD student. Besides to developing my thesis, I taught undergraduate research methodology classes and co-supervised students' final papers. I fell joy when I see a research project taking shape and being transformed along the way. I like the methodology because, at the same time that it provides the foundation for the study, it can also be a path to find new perspectives about the phenomenon.

It is generally believed that research methodology is hard. However, when the theme is refined, the research problem and the objectives worked, then, the choice of methodological approach and of procedures flows more organically. Treating the methodology rigorously means not rigity, but demarcating all the choices that were made throughout the research process and indicating how we did each stage. With organization and planning it is possible to refine your research project and make this practice interesting rather than terrifying.
