About Charlie
I’m a PhD researcher in Environmental Science, with an MSc in Quaternary Science (Distinction) and a BSc in Geography (First Class). My research focuses on how people interact with the environment over time, and I enjoy exploring these connections through both research and teaching. I’m passionate about helping others understand the subjects I love, which is what led me to tutoring. My goal is to make learning clear, approachable, and tailored to each student’s needs. Whether you are preparing for exams, working on coursework, or building confidence in complex topics, I’m here to support you. During my PhD, I have assisted with undergraduate laboratory sessions in Geomorphology and Tropical Ecology, supported students on field trips, and helped third-years with dissertations. I also have experience marking undergraduate exams, essays, and posters.
