About Lina
I am a dedicated and supportive economics tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence and really understand the ideas behind the subject. I am currently a PhD researcher in the Department of Political Economy at King’s College London, where I work on applied microeconomics and quantitative methods. Alongside my research, I have taught Python, data analysis, and quantitative methods to social-science students at several universities, and I have worked with learners at A-level, undergraduate, and postgraduate level.
I welcome students of all backgrounds and confidence levels, and I genuinely enjoy helping people make progress and feel more comfortable with economics.

I focus on developing strong intuition for economic concepts before moving to problem-solving, essay structure, and exam-style questions. My teaching style is clear, patient, and highly interactive, with an emphasis on helping students understand why models and results matter rather than memorising them.
