About Sam
I am a Psychology PhD with extensive experience in research and teaching. I have taught classes and mentored students at major Australian universities for over 5 years. My main expertise is in helping students to understand scientific methodologies and improve their writing.

I like to help students see how the content they are "forced" to learn is interesting, or at least important, and how it fits into a bigger picture of the scientific enterprise. I also like to show how writing can be elegant.
That being said, I don't really have a specific teaching methodology. If you come to me with a problem, I will help you solve that problem. That's pretty much all there is to this when you get down to it.
