About Luis
PhD in Mathematics. I have been tutoring since high school and continued during my bachelor's and master's degrees. During this time, I also have been a Teacher Assistant for more than 5 years. I have taught both in groups and individually.
I focus on understanding the logic and reasoning problems that students have.

I start by reviewing the material and the student's level of comprehension. I think it is important to see the student’s reasoning in order to guide them appropriately and make it natural. I look for student participation so I can help them with all their doubts.
I emphasize finding the appropriate logic to solve problems rather than mechanically solving them. This helps them to study on their own and improve at their pace.
I have more than 10 years of tutoring experience. Since high school, I have supported classmates and neighbors with classes and exam preparation, in addition to having more than 3 years as a professor's assistant during my bachelor's and master's degrees.
