About DrAsma
I am a research fellow in economics at UCL; I have a masters' degree in statistics and econometrics as well as a PhD in economics from Paris School of Economics
I have extensive teaching experience at university level: I taught undergrad microeconomics at Sciences Po Paris as well as UCL. I also taught graduate level econometrics at Sciences Po Paris.
I also supervised masters' degree dissertations at UCL
I speak English and French (native language)
I have taught a dozen of students (both at the undergraduate and graduate level) over the last year.

My teaching method is to focus on building strong foundations for my students. My aim is that my students master the basics very quickly to become autonomous. I will help my student to master the foundational technical skills that they will need to succeed in econ.

Perfect! I would definitely recommend Dr. Asma as a tutor. I am very happy with the approach Dr. Asma has to my questions. I received a feedback to my homework and now we are discussing step-by-step with her each comment I got. She is very thorough in the way she works. She invests herself not only in understanding the questions, but also in brainstorming on possible solutions. What I like the most is that she questions everything - this way I discover that sometimes when I thought I knew and understood some specific things, I actually did not. This is a great approach to learn! Moreover, I like when people give constructive feedback and criticism without sugar-coating things - this is more efficient way and helps us to start directly discussing the solutions. I am happy that Dr. Asma accepted me as a student and am very much looking forward to learn from her.

Asma is a patient and knowledgeable tutor. She answered all of the questions I had and provided invaluable advice and insight to help me with my Econometrics dissertation.
I've been taking Econometrics lessons from Dr Asma. So far I have been able to receive what I need from my lessons. Asma provides a lot of practical examples in her lessons which is key in understanding concepts. she is also able to provide reading materials. I've been able to set my own pace with Asma because she is very flexible in her course design and this is helping me to understand things that are challenging to me. I recommend Dr Asma as a tutor to anyone who is looking for freestyle lessons and deeper understanding of economics and econometrics and look forward to continue with her in the future.
