About Henry
I've spent the past three years researching how novel machine learning methods can improve X-ray imaging in medicine. This work has been formally written-up, and is now being prepared for submission.
Before my PhD, I studied Physics with Computer Science at Sheffield University, where I balanced academics with student outreach via the University physics society. I have experience being the friendly face new students could recognize in their first week.

Hi, my name's Henry! I'm currently tutoring A-level students in physics, maths and computer science. I am a final-year PhD candidate with the university of Durham, where I have taught online and in-person lessons to undergraduate computer science students for two years.
I believe great results come from strong understanding of fundamentals, and genuine interest in the subject. In my lessons, I try to encourage both of these, so that students get satisfaction from problem solving, and are prepared for whatever exams throw at them.
