About Azam
I am a PhD graduate in the field of Physical Chemistry. I taught general chemistry labs for 7 years to university-level students from all different fields, from engineering to agricultural students.
Every semester, I helped around 100 students to perform chemistry labs, as well as improving their problem-solving techniques. I evaluated their worksheets and helped them with difficult questions.
During my program, I practice physical chemistry every day. I am a theoretical chemist and I feel confident teaching the related subjects.

I prefer the student lead the section. This way I learn what is the need of my student faster. Let me explain.
At each section, I ask some review questions from the last section to make sure we are on the same page. My students tell me what they need to learn at each section and I prep some practice questions for them. I walk them through how to read the question. What are the points that need to be focused on and after understanding the question together, I start solving it. I explain my reasoning at each step and I wait for my student as much as needed so they can follow me. Depending on the section time, if there is more time we discuss more and learn more about different practice questions.
I enjoy communicating with my student and I want to be a friend to them. I focus on their positive aspects and love to hear their thoughts, as everyone has its unique way of thinking.
My lessons are suitable for whoever is struggling with chemistry, math and physics problems. If you have any difficulty in understanding any subject I will be there to help.
