About Philip
I have been giving lessons throughout my university career and was responsible for undergraduate tutorials during my PhD as well as supervising practical lessons and marking assignments.
These classes gave me a wealth of experience in finding the best way to relate complex ideas in a simple way to students who were finding the subject impossible.
In my current professional position I have been responsible for placement students in industry. This involved teaching and training and more importantly, peaking the interest of students (in an admittedly boring environment!) which has resulted in applications to remain in the company.
My lessons will not only help you wrap your head around the world of chemistry, but hopefully show the fun side of it too!

I am a PhD Chemistry graduate of Queen's University (graduated in 2014) giving lessons at the GCSE/A level grade but also give tutorials to undergraduate students.
Anyone can learn any subject, all it takes is is the patience to figure out what the student can relate to.
I prefer a friendly, informal format where you aren't afraid to say "I DONT GET THIS?" and I don't expect you to understand after one lesson.
Each lesson plan is customised to the student as each student is different, there is no one-stop solution.
