I am a PhD candidate in the department of Gender Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, with a masters degree in Sociology. I am a former recipient of the Truman Foundation Scholarship, and have received grants from many cultural and academic institutions. I am a highly organized, creative, and skillful writer, editor, and tutor with a passion for language and self expression.
