About Annie
Hi there! My name is Annie and I am a PhD student studying cancer epidemiology at King's College London. Prior to beginning my postgraduate career, I completed a Master's in Neuroscience and a Bachelor's in Biology. I have 5+ years of mentoring/tutoring experience and an overall passion for teaching. Most recently, I was selected to be a PhD tutor for the award winning The Brilliant Club Program with lessons beginning in the Fall. In the meantime, I would love to be able to provide support and tutoring for any science related disciplines.

My teaching method is centered around the principles of personalized learning in that I work with the student(s) to better understand and adapt to their preferred learning style. I am very mindful and pay close attention to the responses I receive from students when presenting or teaching certain material which can then allow me to cater my lessons accordingly to a students' needs. I also believe in the importance of routine application of learned content by assigning regular analytical and/or standard comprehension exercises. I believe that my successes in mentoring and tutoring to date are a direct result in my understanding that a balance of these various facets of learning should exist and (most importantly) that learning can be fun!

Annie is a great educator. She has excellent foundation in sciences, especially in Biology. Annie has an unique skill of creating personalized lessons for students to fit their needs and goals.
