About Mahek
My name is Mahek, and I am currently studying Pharmacy at Liverpool University. I have always had a great passion for Science and Maths and enjoy sharing my love for them! I am known amongst my friends for making the subject fun and simplified. For this reason, I have joined tutoring and am very excited to help other students to the best of my ability :)

To start, I always try to get a clear understanding of the student's level of knowledge, their learning style and what they hope to achieve from the sessions. Once this is established, I gather materials from resources relevant to the lesson's topic and align them with the learning objectives. This includes textbooks and online resources. During the lesson, I try my best to deliver the material in an engaging and interactive way for the student. I believe there should be a certain level of trust between the student and the tutor to make the student feel that they're in a safe and positive environment. For this reason, one of the main things I encourage during the lessons is to ask as many questions as they like! At the end of the class, I always try to assess the student to keep track of their progress.
