About Kiah
I’m a dedicated English tutor with a degree in Journalism and ongoing PGCE Secondary English training. I'm currently on teaching placement where I am developing strong classroom skills and gaining valuable experience supporting a wide range of learners. I’ve worked with students of various ages and abilities, from school-based support to tutoring younger siblings, and I find it incredibly rewarding to see learners progress, grow in confidence, and start enjoying English. My teaching style is friendly, supportive, and adaptable. If one approach doesn’t click, we’ll keep exploring until we find the method that works best for you!

I use clear modelling and scaffolded tasks, personalised to each student to build confidence and secure progress. Lessons typically last 45–60 minutes and are fully tailored to individual needs. I support learners of all ages and levels, whether they’re developing reading, writing, or oracy skills, or studying GCSE and A Level English content.
