About Amber
Originally from Paris, I obtained the French baccalauréat in 2015. I then went on to study at the University of Sussex (BA in English language and linguistics- 2.1). During the course of this BA, I also trained for and obtained a certificate in teaching English to speakers of other languages (CerTESOL). Last year, I completed an MA in translation and interpreting at the University of Westminster (First).
I am currently teaching French to two young professionals on a weekly basis.

I center my lessons around your needs and wants. The first lesson is often more casual so I can get an idea of your level and how to tailor the next lessons. I focus on both written and spoken skills, as I believe the two are essential to fully be confident with one or the other. My lessons are always conducted in French for total immersion, however, if you are a beginner I will make sure to adapt the language used and/or will introduce English in the lesson from time to time (especially for grammar/conjugation explanations).
