About Chathurva
I am a 2nd year Aerospace student with 2 years of tutoring experience. I believe that every student has the ability to learn and succeed when guided with the right approach. My teaching style is interactive, activity-based, and student-centered. I make a conscious effort to understand each student’s level of thinking and explain concepts in a simple, relatable way and I strongly believe that learning should be engaging, not intimidating. Through clear explanations, creative activities, and continuous motivation, I help students build both academic skills and self-confidence.

Teaching techniques and methods:
My teaching style is primarily interactive and activity-based. I believe students learn best when they are actively involved in the learning process rather than passively listening. I use simple examples, real-life connections, games, small tasks, and question-answer sessions to make concepts easier to understand. I also encourage students to ask questions and express their thoughts freely, creating a comfortable and engaging learning environment. I always try to get down to the student’s level and explain ideas in a way that matches their thinking ability.
Usual structure of a class:
A typical class begins with a short warm-up or revision of what was learned previously. Then I introduce the new topic using easy and relatable examples. After this, I involve students in small activities, discussions, or practice problems so they can apply what they just learned. I check their understanding throughout the lesson and clear doubts immediately. At the end of the class, I give a brief summary and sometimes a small task or challenge to reinforce learning.
My special features as a teacher:
One of my key strengths as a teacher is my patience and ability to adapt my teaching style according to the student’s level. Even when students find a subject difficult, I try to explain it in multiple ways until they start understanding and slowly develop a liking for it. I focus not only on academic improvement but also on building the student’s confidence and interest in learning. I believe that when a student enjoys learning, real progress happens.
