About Brianna
I recently graduated from the Penn State Schreyer Honors College where I majored in professional writing. The past two years I have worked as a writing tutor for Penn State, helping more than 150 students improve their writing skills and receiving numerous nominations for the Tutor of the Year Award. It is my desire to continue utilizing my skills to help more students who may need it.

I have tutored high school, undergraduate, and graduate students in English and writing. It is my belief that each student learns differently, so my teaching style often varies. In approaching a tutoring session, essentially, I discuss the topic with the student in order to assess where he/she is at, what kind of help that student is looking for, and where his/her strengths/weaknesses lie. From there, I address these problem areas, try to help the student understand the material, and all the while encourage the student to see what they have done well and where they show strength in their skill.
