About Henry
I have twenty years experience training employees in contract design, implementation, and auditing. Taught government regulations for contract implementation. Increased employee knowledge 80%. Increased auditing techniques 90%. Currently tutor a senior citizen, who started at a first grade English level, and now he's reading on a third grade level. I'm also tutoring a seventh grader middle school math, in order to help her advance to the eighth grade

My philosophy for teaching is simply patience and self-assurance. If the teacher has these qualities, the student "feels" it and has less anxiety in approaching the subject. This method also leads to independent thought and creativity on the part of the student. The idea is to make a difficult concept simple, enhancing the teacher's and student's gratification. Accumulation of knowledge is not the goal. Rather, teaching student HOW TO THINK is key.
