About Yakhiyakhan
I am Yakhiya, an international student at Wuhan College in China, where I have been living for 2–3 years. That means every day I navigate real Chinese — buying food, making friends, attending university lectures — all in Mandarin. I have lived and breathed the languages I teach. My level is HSK 4, and I am still actively growing, which is exactly why I understand my students so well. Before moving to China, I worked as an online tutor at one of Kazakhstan's leading education agencies, specializing in preparing students for university studies in China. I helped real students achieve the language level they needed to get accepted and thrive abroad — not just pass a test, but actually survive and succeed in a Chinese-speaking environment. I also served as MC at English Corner events hosted for Chinese students, where I facilitated conversation, built confidence in public speaking, and created a space where language felt fun rather than frightening. I hold a C1 level in English and am a native speaker of both Russian and Kazakh, which means I can explain concepts from multiple linguistic angles and genuinely connect with students from Central Asia and beyond. I have been living in China for 2–3 years, so I use Mandarin in real daily life — not just in a textbook. My level is HSK 4 and I am still actively learning, which means I know exactly where students struggle and how to explain things clearly. A typical lesson starts with a short warm-up (vocabulary or tones review), then we work on the main skill — speaking, reading, grammar, or exam practice — and finish with a quick summary and homework. Every lesson is adapted to your pace and goals. My lessons are ideal for: absolute beginners, intermediate learners (HSK 1–4), students preparing for HSK exams, and anyone who wants real conversational practice. I am patient, structured, and genuinely passionate about helping you succeed. As a multilingual speaker myself, I understand what it takes to learn a new language from scratch.
