About Howard
Math is essentially a puzzle meant to be solved if you approach it from the right perspective. I have noticed that most students find success once we shift the focus to problem-solving strategies rather than just getting an answer.
Throughout my 12 years of industry experience, I have developed a deep appreciation for the beauty of mensuration and algebraic structures. We perform mock tests with error analysis before exams to ensure that you identify your weak spots before they become permanent barriers to your progress. Because I hold a BSc and BEcon, I bring a unique analytical lens to our sessions that helps you see how numbers impact the real world.

I sometimes struggle to understand why standard schooling makes mathematics feel so unnecessarily complicated. My undergraduate degree from the University of Melbourne gave me a firm grasp on logic and quantitative systems. After 13 years working in high pressure fintech environments, I transitioned into tutoring to support struggling students and hobbyists.
I specialize in breaking down complex word problems and algebra into logical steps that make sense to a neurodivergent brain. My approach is centered on conceptual learning rather than rote memorization of formulas. Whether you need SAT math prep or help with competition level geometry, I focus on building your confidence through clear and actionable feedback.
