About Crisha
Hello! My name is Crisha, and I am originally from the Philippines before moving to Malaysia and eventually settling in Sydney, Australia. I currently work as an Assistant Accountant and an English Tutor on an online learning platform. I teach because I genuinely enjoy helping students understand concepts they once found difficult and watching their confidence grow over time. Mathematics, in particular, is rewarding to teach because it strengthens logical thinking and problem-solving skills. Being able to guide students, support their learning, and see their progress makes teaching both meaningful and fulfilling for me.

Hello! I offer mathematics tutoring for Primary 1 to 5 students. I have experience tutoring in casual settings through family and community connections in both Malaysia and Australia. I enjoy teaching mathematics because it helps students develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills while building confidence in their abilities.
I am originally from the Philippines, where I spent 13 formative years before moving to Malaysia and eventually settling in Sydney, Australia. Experiencing different cultures and education systems has helped me develop a flexible and patient teaching style that adapts to each student’s learning needs.
I currently work as an Assistant Accountant at an Australian company and as an English Tutor at Eigox, a Japanese online learning platform. These roles have strengthened my communication skills and my ability to explain concepts clearly to learners from diverse backgrounds.
My teaching approach focuses on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I break down complex topics into simple steps, use real-life examples, and guide students through problem-solving so they understand the reasoning behind each answer rather than memorizing formulas.
I particularly enjoy teaching Algebra because it develops logical thinking and pattern recognition. I often describe it as solving a puzzle—once students understand the patterns, their confidence quickly improves.
Typically, my lessons run for one to two hours depending on the student’s needs and learning goals. If a student performs poorly on a test, I respond supportively, review the test with them to identify gaps in understanding, and adjust the learning plan with targeted practice to help them improve.
I find tutoring incredibly rewarding, especially when students gain confidence and overcome challenges in subjects they once found difficult.
