About Richard
I am trained and experienced in elementary-age pedagogy in Math, Sciences, Social Sciences, and Language Arts. With a doctorate from McGill, I have been successfully teaching undergraduates since 2007, and have extensive experience with elementary and high-school age learners as well.

Patience and understanding are cornerstones of my approach with elementary and intermediate learners, which consists of discussion, one-on-one encouragement, ample use of carefully-designed exercises, and supplementary readings, videos, and other resources. A typical class will begin with a check-in to see how the student is doing and to gauge their understanding and will build on their individual needs and strengths.
