About Veronica
I am a patient, responsible, and hardworking tutor who enjoys helping others feel more confident in their English and writing abilities. As a college student myself, I understand how stressful assignments, essays, and deadlines can be. I am approachable and willing to work at each student’s pace, whether they need extra help understanding an assignment, organizing their ideas, improving grammar, or becoming a stronger overall writer. I believe that everyone can improve their writing with the right guidance, practice, and encouragement. My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are not afraid to make mistakes.

My approach to tutoring is patient, supportive, and personalized to each student’s needs. I like to explain concepts in simple terms and give students plenty of opportunities to practice. A typical lesson may include reviewing previous work, going over areas that need improvement, practicing grammar or writing skills, and working on essays or assignments. I can help students improve sentence structure, organization, grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and overall writing confidence. My goal is to make English and writing feel less overwhelming while helping students become more independent and comfortable with their work. Lessons are suitable for middle school, high school, and college students who want extra support with English, writing, essays, or assignments.
