About Aria
I am a chess tutor with over 5 years of teaching experience. My approach emphasises tactical calculation, positional understanding, and strategic planning. I focus on developing critical thinking, board vision, and endgame skills.

I teach chess with a focus on creativity, tactical skill, and strategic thinking. Lessons cover openings, middlegame plans, endgame mastery, and spontaneous decision-making. I aim to develop both analytical and flexible thinking in students.
I work with The Hobbyist and The Competitive Player, tailoring lessons to individual goals. Lessons are interactive and practical, with exercises, puzzles, and live game simulations. Students learn to anticipate moves and respond creatively under pressure.
I provide consistent feedback to refine calculation, strategy, and positional play. We explore combinations, tactical motifs, and famous games. Students are guided to cultivate their own style and approach.
Lessons balance structured practice with improvisational problem-solving. Students gain confidence, adaptability, and strategic insight. I emphasise creativity, foresight, and independent thinking.
